I Lay It Down

Lord, take all my weariness
Take all my bitterness

I lay it down,
I lay it down…

Lord, take all my sin and shame
Take all my cruel pain

I lay it down,
I lay it down…

Lord, take all my rage and fears
Take all my lonely tears

I lay it down,
I lay it down…

Lord, take all my worldly gain
Take all my hateful blame

I lay it down,
I lay it down…

Lord, take all that I have lost
And redeem it at the cross

I lay it down,
I lay it down…

Lord, I take all you gave to me
And give it back to thee

I lay it down,
I lay it down…

Father, Soften My Heart

Father, soften my heart
As water softens stone

Father, enter my heart
And make my life your own

Father, I need you tonight
Please come and take me home

Even Though He Slay Me

Yea, even though He slay me
I will praise the Lord
I will praise the Lord

Yea, even though He slay me
I will praise the Lord
I will praise the Lord

For though my heart
Has been torn apart
And ravaged by a world of sin
He is still the Lord
My comfort
And He has said that love will win

Yea, even though He slay me
I will praise the Lord
I will praise the Lord

Yea, even though He slay me
I will praise the Lord
I will praise the Lord

For He is God
And He is good
And He has done what He said He would
He is still the Lord
Of my life and my days
And He is worthy of my praise

Yea, even though He slay me
I will praise the Lord
I will praise the Lord

Yea, even though He slay me
I will praise the Lord
I will praise the Lord

Comforted in Jerusalem

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
It is the city of God
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where all is peace and joy and love

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
It is the city of gold
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where you will never grow old

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where the Lamb reigns on high
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where every tear shall be dry

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
And your heart shall rejoice
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Now lift up a mighty voice

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where sorrow passes away
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
One bright, eternal, glorious day

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where death cannot be
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
For He loves you and He loves me

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where His love ever flows
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Following wherever He goes

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
And the time is drawing nigh
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
The heavenly city in the sky

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Oh, won’t you journey there
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Leave behind your worldly care

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where we’ll worship and dance
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Partake of Christ’s inheritance

For He is the King of Glory
Yes, He is the King of Glory

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Count all things but loss
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Knowing Jesus triumphed on the cross

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where your soul will be saved
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Your victory is an open grave

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
It is the hope of the earth
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
The precious hope of the new birth

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where there is no more pain
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
This is why Jesus came

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Oh, chosen Israel
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Escaping fiery flames of hell

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Don’t be afraid
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
A way to heaven has been made

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
There is nothing to fear
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
With every breath it’s drawing near

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Oh, what shall I bring
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Your life, a fragrant offering

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
It is the city of rest
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
He’s prepared for you His very best

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where He calls you by name
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
And you shall never be the same

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where His mercy is free
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
A reward is waiting there for thee

You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where healing is found
You shall be comforted in Jerusalem
Where angels sing a heavenly sound

Delight Yourself

Delight yourself in the Lord
And you will have the desires of your heart
Delight yourself in the Lord
And you will have the desires of your heart

For the Lord is a mighty God
An ever-living, loving, everlasting one
Fulfilling every promise to His children

Delight yourself in the Lord
And you will have the desires of your heart
Delight yourself in the Lord
And you will have the desires of your heart

For the Lord is a righteous God
An ever-interceding, ever-giving One
Oh, magnify the love of the Father

Delight yourself in the Lord
And you will have the desires of your heart
Delight yourself in the Lord
And you will have the desires of your heart

For the Lord is the only God
The only King of Glory, Christ the Risen Son
And as His bride I’ll reign with Him forever

Cloud of Witnesses

We have a great cloud of witnesses
Watching us and cheering us on

We have a great cloud of witnesses
Watching us and cheering us on

The race can be won
It’s already been done
Just keep faith
Just keep faith in the Son

Do Not Be Afraid, Zachariah

Do not be afraid, Zachariah
Do not be afraid, Zachariah
Do not be afraid, all you priests of the Lord

For your prayer has been heard
Your prayer has been heard

I Dance Barefoot

I dance barefoot
On the soul of the earth
And lift my feet
Just in time
To yield to the rising flame
As her heart overflows
With passion and joy
That a rare soul
Has fallen in step.

There Are Little Girls

There are little girls — out there,
Wondering where Daddy went.
There are little boys — out there,
Wondering where Mommy went.

Is Daddy coming home soon?
Will Mommy soon be here?
When Daddy walks through the door,
Will he wipe away my tear?

Will Mommy hold me once again
As if I were a babe?
Can I climb upon my Daddy’s lap
If I am afraid?

There are little girls — out there,
Wondering where Daddy went.
There are little boys — out there,
Wondering where Mommy went.

Bring Me Water

If you bring me water,
I will give you wine.

If you bring me your troubles,
I will make them mine.

All will be made right,
All in good time.
