by Janis Gaines

I looked over the cliffs
To the raging waters below
So out of control
With their mighty ebb and flow
And I knew that they would have their way
With all who think they can play
But even in my fear
I was drawn to the white caps
Full of force and life
The movement
The thrill of instagnation
Came over me
And like a magnet
I was pulled by a greater power
When I cast myself, my soul
As bread upon the waters
